MENDOTA - The Great Library Pumpkin Decorating Contest is underway at Graves-Hume Public Library in Mendota. Voting began on Oct. 13 and will end at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced on Monday, Nov. 2. Library director Emily Kofoid said the library has received some very creative entries and she encourages the public to stop by and vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin (one vote per person, per day is allowed).
