Sublette plans 'Christmas in the Village' on Dec. 4; having holiday decorating contest


SUBLETTE – The Village of Sublette will ring in the holidays during its annual Christmas Walk, “Christmas in the Village,” from 3 - 6 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 4.

A craft and vendor show will be held at 6 p.m. at the Ellice Dinges Center. There will be a large variety of vendors that can fulfill your holiday shopping needs. 

New this year will be the Lighted Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m. Cars, trucks, ATVs and tractors are welcome. Line-up is at Centennial Park. 

Following the lighted parade, the official lighting of the village Christmas tree will be done by Santa Claus at 6 p.m.

Downtown Sublette businesses will be open for all your shopping and refreshment needs. 

“Christmas in the Village” is always the highlight of the Christmas season in Sublette. Families are invited to come and enjoy a festive day.

 Christmas Decorating Contest Planned

Area residents are invited to deck their home with the most TREEmendous decorations for the Sublette Christmas Decorating Contest. Sign up by Dec. 10 for a chance to win a prize. Judging will be Dec. 17. Sign-up sheets are available at Sublette General Store, Pioneer State Bank and the Post Office. Everyone is urged to light up the town for the Christmas season.
