AVON, Ind. - Roy Robert Boyles, 61, formerly of Mendota, passed away recently in Avon, Ind.
Memorial services will be private.
Roy was born May 27, 1956 in Mendota to Freda Smith and LeRoy Boyles.
Survivors include his three children, Dawn (Gene) Moore, Tanya Boyles and Roy (fiancée Kristen) Boyles, Jr.; three siblings, Deanna (Charlie) Matlock, Cathy (Jerry) Johnson and Denny Boyles; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gina Horn.
Roy joined the military shortly after high school. After leaving the Air Force as a staff sergeant, he moved to Indiana. He received his BA in information technology from American InterContinental University in 2006 and most recently was employed by Aero Industries in Indianapolis, Ind.
