PRINCETON - Princeton Public Library has scheduled several upcoming programs open to the public.

Monday, Feb. 24 - Monday Night Movie, 6:30 p.m.

The president that is in office has a high approval rating. However, he is a lonely father struggling to raise his daughter after his wife dies. Things get worse when he is attracted to a lobbyist and they start being seen together. The press and his political rivals attack him and his rating drops in the polls. Eventually he must choose between one of his bills and one that his lobbyist girlfriend was hired to get passed. What will he do?

Tuesday, Feb. 25 - Preschool Storytime, 10:30 a.m. - Theme: “Lines & Yarn; yarn painting craft”; Music Jam, 6:30 p.m. - If you play bluegrass, gospel, country, folk or popular music, bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, etc. and play a song or jam with the group. Players and listeners are welcome.

Wednesday, Feb. 26 - The Constitution: Why It Matters, 6:30 p.m. - Theme: “The Founders Would Have Hated Our Bill of Rights” presented by Matt Schafer, Princeton High School graduate and Assistant General Counsel, Litigation at ViacomCBS, New York. Find out why most of the Founders never wanted a Bill of Rights and those who did would have never agreed to the one we have. By tracing the development of the Bill of Rights from the Founders to present day, Schafer will explain some of the most consequential events in the document’s history.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Thursday, Feb. 27 - Board Game & Card Playing Night, 6:30 p.m. - If you like playing board games such as Scattegories, Blokus, Trivial Pursuit or Ticket to Ride, come join the group or bring your own favorite game and teach others. You can also play your favorite card games - euchre, hearts, rummy, poker, pinochle, kings in the corner - or teach others your favorite. Bring your friends along and come relax and have some fun. This event is free, all are welcome to join in.

Saturday, Feb. 29 - Intro to Balloon Animal Making, 12:30 p.m. - Registration is required for this free introductory course to animal twist balloons and balloon sculpting basics. (Limit of five people, age 13 and up.) All balloon supplies will be provided. Please bring a large bag to take your creations home.
