MENDOTA – The Mendota Police Department is investigating a reported shooting that occurred on April 24.
According to a police department report, officers responded to the report of a drive-by shooting incident in the vicinity of First Avenue and Fourth Street shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, but confirmation has been made that a drive-by shooting did occur between occupants of multiple vehicles.
The shooting incident is under investigation by the Mendota Police Department. Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to contact the Mendota Police Department at 815-539-9331.
Also, the police department is seeking any outdoor video surveillance footage in this residential neighborhood should any video be available.
