Paw Paw School Board recognizes volunteers, handles other business

PAW PAW – Rob Edwards, and Erin and Rob Odle were both presented plaques at the Paw Paw School Board meeting on March 21, thanking them each for their over 15 years of dedicated volunteering, including, among many tasks, assisting at activities, and coaching.

The custodians have requested a new floor-scrubber, as the one they have now is over 15 years old, and no longer scrubs. The board approved the expenditure.

The school’s 10-year Life Safety inspection is due. Various companies are being considered to complete the exam.

Digital Records Conversion is being pursued by the district. Old records would be scanned and converted to digital, allowing destruction of the paper copies filling spaces. Quotes and methods are being investigated.

The eighth-grade trip will be to Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells on May 23.

A Community Forum for all interested district taxpayers is tentatively scheduled for September 13.
