MHS F-S gridders fall to Hall, 16-0

MENDOTA – Hall was a 16-0 winner over Mendota in freshman-sophomore football action on Sept. 26 at the MHS field.

The game was scoreless at halftime and then Hall scored one touchdown each in the third and fourth frames. The TDs came on pass plays of 33 and 11 yards. The Red Devils were successful on both two-point conversions.

Mendota (0-5) outgained Hall, 166-148. The Trojans had 122 yards rushing and 44 passing. Aden Tillman had 12 rushes for 67 yards and Corbin Furar carried 15 times for 41 yards. Tillman completed three passes, with Keegan Beetz gathering in two for 39 yards.
