MENDOTA - Mark L. Wallis, 58, of Mendota passed away Feb. 12, 2020 at OSF Saint Paul Medical Center.
A memorial visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Schwarz Funeral Home, 907 Jefferson St., Mendota.
Mark was born Dec. 5, 1961 in Rockford to Waymon and Joann (Berridge) Wallis.
Survivors include three brothers, Waymon (Frieda) Wallis of Georgia, his twin Matt Wallis of Mendota, and Victor Wallis of Rockton; one sister, Denise (Gary) Mcelyea of New Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Diane; one sister-in-law, Lisa Wallis; and one niece, Tiffany Wallis.
Mark was an identical twin, who always referred to himself as the “good looking” one. He grew up in Rockford and moved to Mendota in 2007, where he worked as a laser technician for HCC, Inc. He was a motorcycle and gun enthusiast.
