MENDOTA - Marilyn F. Hawkins, 84, of Mendota passed away June 13, 2019 at Heritage Health Mendota.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on June 17 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Peterstown with Rev. Fulgens Rutatekururwa officiating. Burial was at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Marilyn was born April 28, 1935 in Mendota to Harold and Clara (Auchstetter) Funfsinn. She married Seth J. Hawkins on April 26, 1969 at Holy Cross Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2014.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Beth Hawkins of Peru and Juli Hawkins of Mendota; one sister, Eileen Funfsinn of Arlington; and one brother, Ken (Sharon) Funfsinn of Mendota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother, Gerald Funfsinn.
During her work career, Marilyn was a phone operator for G.E. and until her retirement she was a librarian with Graves-Hume Public Library. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
Memorials may be directed to Graves-Hume Public Library, Sts. Peter and Paul School Fund, or Mendota Area Senior Services.
