MENDOTA – Graves-Hume Public Library will host “Crafting Herbal Mocktails on Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m.
Marcy Lautanen-Raleigh will demonstrate how to make simple syrups and herb extractions to craft a myriad of herb flavored and scented alcohol-free mocktails. Rethink party punch with herb ingredients, craft martinis, fizzes, and sours you never tried before and discuss the history of herbs in alcoholic beverages. (Alcohol can be substituted for mocktail ingredients, if desired. However, this is a no alcohol program.)
Marcy has been growing herbs for more than 20 years. Her business, Backyard Patch, specializes in fresh, amazing, organic blended herbs for cooking, teas and baths. You will leave this program ready to serve your guests refreshing and enticing drinks at your next party.
Please register at the library for this event; no library card required.
