PERU - The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development’s (IVAC) next Business Breakfast Seminar will discuss “Workplace Culture - Strategic Success.” Join the discussion at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11 at Mario’s Maples in Peru.
Be a part of the discussion with Dr. Laurence G. Weinzimmer, Caterpillar Inc. Professor of Management at Bradley University. People may wonder if organizational culture really matters and if so, why is that important.
Weinzimmer will discuss what high-performance cultures look like, how to build them, and most importantly, how to maintain them. At the end of the presentation, attendees will leave with a new appreciation for culture and why it is key in establishing effective organizations.
A sought-after business advisor to numerous Fortune 100 companies and author of four books, Weinzimmer’s most recent book was ranked #3 on the Wall Street Journal Best Sellers List, and was rated the top leadership book in North America. He has been featured in Fortune, the New York Times, and Executive Excellence and has appeared on CNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC Nightly News and Fox Business.
The seminar will begin with a hot breakfast buffet served at 7:15 a.m. and the program will start at 7:30 a.m. Reservations must be made by calling (815) 223-0227 no later than noon on Tuesday, March10. The breakfast is open to the public.
