MENDOTA – A scary Halloween scene in which a skeleton appears to be pulling someone through a tree is just one of the many spooky Halloween decorations that can be seen around Mendota. Children will have several chances to dress up in costume and make their way around town to collect treats – the first from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at Mendota businesses displaying an orange flyer in their window and the second during the regular trick-or-treat period from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.
