LA SALLE - On Tuesday, May 18 at 6 p.m., the LaSalle Public Library will virtually host Natalie Martin, master gardener, when she presents the second in her “Grow Your Own...” series, which combines gardening with cooking.

In this session, Martin will walk through recipes that can be used as appetizers, such as bruschetta and salsa, using produce and herbs that you can grow in your own garden. She will use hands-on demonstrations, as well as discuss plant varieties and certain requirements needed to make an appetizer garden.

The program is free and open to the public but requires registration. Once registered, a confirmation e-mail with connection information for joining the program will be sent to participants. Register online at https://bit.ly/3eb9eqI.
