Barry Cloyd, singer/songwriter/storyteller
Graves-Hume Public Library will host “An Irish Immigrant’s Song: the Celtic Influx” with Barry Cloyd on Tuesday, March 3 beginning at 6 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public; no library card is required.

Shake, Rattle & Read
The “Shake, Rattle & Read” program for babies and toddlers, ages birth to 2 years old, to enjoy with their caregivers will be held on Wednesday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 17 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. at The Graves-Hume Public Library.
An evening session is scheduled for Thursday, March 12 from 6-6:45 p.m.
This program features stories, songs, puppets, playtime, and much more! Siblings are welcome to share in the fun. Attendees are invited to stay for an additional 15 minutes following the program for a social time/free-play session. Please register by calling (815) 538-5142.
Tween Iron Chef competition
The Graves-Hume Public Library will host a Tween Iron Chef competition on March 4 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. This program is open to kids in grades 5-8. Space is limited; please register for this event.
The next tween event: Fun Outdoor Games on April 1.
Kids Lego Club
Lego Club, an exciting program for students in grades 1-4, will be held Wednesday, March 4 from 3:30-4:15 p.m. at the Graves-Hume Public Library. The library supplies the Legos and you bring your imagination. Another Lego Club will meet on Thursday, March 19 from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
Children are limited to attending only one session per month of this extremely popular program. Parents or caregivers may drop off their children for the program hour. Sign up is required by calling (815) 538-5142 to reserve a spot.
Next month's Lego Club will meet on April 1 and April 23.
Family outing, March 7
The Graves-Hume Public Library will host a program for families on Saturday, March 7 from 12-12:45 p.m. These monthly events feature a craft and pizza. Pizza is provided by Rosati’s of Mendota.
All ages are welcome to attend this family-friendly event. Sign up is required by calling (815) 538-5142.
