OTTAWA - The LaSalle County Farm Bureau will hold a free two-day session on Mental Health First Aid. Course materials and food will be provided.
The Mental Health First Aid course teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people with the signs and symptoms of a mental illness or crisis, then connect them with the appropriate care. Mental Health First Aid is for everyone.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP for the two-day session by March 2 by calling (815) 433-0371. The program will be held at the LaSalle County Farm Bureau, 4201 Columbus St., Ottawa.
