Mendota mounted a second-half comeback, but it wasn’t enough in falling to Stillman Valley, 32-25, on March 1 at the MHS gym.

The Lady Trojans put up just five points in the first half and were down 18-5 at the break, but they outscored Stillman Valley, 13-5, in the third frame to climb back to within five points with one quarter left to play. Mendota could not complete the rally in the fourth.

Garcia led the scoring column for the Lady Trojans with nine points, all in the second half, while Jenner supplied eight tallies.
