Mendotan on Belmont U. Dean’s List

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont University has announced the list of students recognized on the Dean's List for the Fall 2022 semester. Of the approximately 52 percent of Belmont's 7,100 undergraduate students who qualified for the Fall 2022 Dean's List, Faith Anderson of Mendota was listed.

Dean's List eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Iowa State announces fall 2022 Dean’s List

AMES, Iowa – More than 10,200 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2022 Dean's List.

Among the students achieving the honor is Sean Dullard of Mendota, a senior animal science major.

Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

 

Area students on Kish Dean’s List

MALTA – The Office of Student Services at Kishwaukee College has announced the students named to the Fall 2022 Dean’s List. To be eligible for Dean’s List honors, a student must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours (at the 100/200 level) during an academic term at Kishwaukee College with a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The following Kishwaukee College students have been named to the official Fall 2022 Dean’s List:

Calvin Seier of Amboy, Gage Faber of Compton and David Negrete of Paw Paw.

 

Kish lists part-time Honor’s List students

MALTA – Kishwaukee College has announced its Part-Time Student Honors List for Fall 2022. To be eligible for this honor, a student must have completed a minimum of 6 (but less than 12) semester hours of college-level courses at Kish with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The following students have been named to the Kishwaukee College Fall 2022 Part-Time Student Honors List:

M. Mikolasek on Iowa president’s list

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Madison Mikolasek of Mendota was among the more than 800 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2022 fall semester.

Mikolasek is a second-year student in Iowa's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in Human Physiology.

President's list status was earned by only two first-year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa; only 133 second-year students; only 270 third-year students; and only 405 fourth-year students.

The president's list was established in the fall of 1983 to recognize academic excellence.

University of Iowa undergraduates who achieve a grade point average (GPA; 4.0 is an A) of 4.0 in 12 semester hours or more of UI graded coursework and who have no "I" marks (incompletes) or "O" marks (no grade reported) on their records for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer session) are recognized by inclusion on the president's list.

 

Local students make Iowa Dean’s List

IOWA CITY, Iowa – More than 7,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2022 fall semester. Dean's list status was earned by only 2,427 first-year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa, only 1,768 second-year students, only 1,503 third-year students, and only 1,845 fourth-year students.

Among the students achieving the honor are Katherine Anderson of LaMoille, a fourth-year student majoring in English and Creative Writing, and Madison Mikolasek of Mendota, a second-year student majoring in Human Physiology.
