SIU dean’s list, graduates

CARBONDALE – Southern Illinois University Carbondale has named its dean’s list and fall 2020 degree candidates.

Students named to the dean’s list include:

Earlville – Miriam Hoffman, junior; Josef Mckee, junior; Amboy – Lucas Leffelman, senior; Compton – Daniel Menzel, senior; LaMoille – Thomas Stamberger, junior; West Brooklyn – Pearl Taylor, sophomore.

Students earning degrees include:

Mendota – Lyndsey Beetz, BS, Dental Hygiene.

Virtual commencement was held on Dec. 12, 2020. 

Kishwaukee part-time student honors list

MALTA - Kishwaukee College has announced its part-time student honors list for fall 2020. Over half the students at Kishwaukee College attend school part time and many of these students have responsibilities that extend far beyond the classroom, including work and family obligations.

Local students include Paw Paw - Samantha Katschke, Brooke Heiman, Jacob Pierce; Earlville - Sarah Stack.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must have completed a minimum of 6 (but less than 12) semester hours of college-level courses at Kish with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. 

Bradley University dean’s list

PEORIA - Two local students, Pamela Taylor of West Brooklyn and Meghann Harness of Earlville were named to Bradley University’s fall 2020 dean’s list. Taylor is majoring in environmental science and Harness is a nursing major.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Bradley University is a top-ranked, private university in Peoria offering 5,400 undergraduate and graduate students the resources of a larger university and the personal attention of a smaller university. More than 185 academic programs are offered in business, communications, education, engineering, fine arts, health sciences, liberal arts and sciences, and technology.
