EARLVILLE - Charlotte I. Erwin, 93, of Earlville passed away Feb. 19, 2020 at the Mendota Lutheran Home in Mendota.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24 at Earlville United Presbyterian Church in Earlville with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. on Feb. 24 at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville.
Charlotte was born Oct. 23, 1926 in Oakley to Benjamin and Lola (Johnson) Warren. She married Delbert L. Erwin on Dec. 24, 1947 in Louisville, Ill. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Michael (Sandy) Erwin of Camanche, Iowa; one daughter, Kaye (Gene) Saylor of Earlville; five grandchildren, Jeff (Tina) Saylor, Melissa (Bret) Collins, Shawn (Angela) Warren, Adrienne Erwin and Ben (Sarah) Erwin; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Francis of Florida, and Leola of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Vincent Erwin; and 11 siblings, Art, Fern, Margaret, Wayne, Gene, Rowena, Lyle, Lee, Barb, Carol and Ronnie.
Charlotte was a member of Earlville United Presbyterian Church. She retired from Federal Huber in Plano after many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
