MENDOTA - After 42 years of loyal service to the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce, Roberta Friedlein will retire from her position as administrative assistant on Oct. 31.

Jesse Arellano, Chamber executive director, said Friedlein’s dedication to the success of the Chamber has been invaluable and her willingness to put in the extra time and effort to help with anything asked of her has demonstrated a commitment to excellence that the Chamber has come to depend upon.

“In addition to her wealth of knowledge and skills, she has been a friend to all within our organization and community,” Arellano emphasized. “Please join us in extending our best wishes to Roberta. We don’t know how we will get along without her!”

The Chamber will host an open house this fall to honor Friedlein’s many years of service and to wish her a wonderful retirement. Arellano said everyone is invited to attend and share their memories of working with Roberta and to express their appreciation for her dedication to the community.
