PRINCETON – “How DNA Helped with My Irish Roots” will be discussed at the next Bureau County Genealogy Society meeting.
The program will be presented by Michael John Neill, a professional genealogical speaker. BCGS always is excited about this popular guest.
In addition to his genealogical interests, Neill is a college math instructor. He has been deeply involved with genealogy for over 30 years and guides research trips to Salt Lake City, Utah and Ft. Wayne, Ind. annually. He speaks at conferences all over the United States and has a research blog.
The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the BCGS library at 629 South Main Street in Princeton on Thursday, March 28. All monthly programs are free and open to the general public. No reservations are needed.
For more information, the BCGS library is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and the first Saturday of the month. Please also visit the newly redesigned website bcgenealogy.org. The next opportunity to research on a Saturday will be on April 6.
