MENDOTA – The Mendota Lady Trojans turned in an impressive third-place finish in the Mendota Co-Ed Invitational track meet on May 2 at the MHS Athletic Complex.
LaSalle-Peru came away with the overall team title with 165.33 points, followed by Hall with 132 and Mendota with 106.33. Also competing were Morris (97), Princeton (86.33), Streator (39) and St. Bede (30).
The Lady Trojans placed first in two events. Madison Myers cruised to the 200-meter dash win with a time of 27.84, while the 4x200-meter relay team came in first in 1:54.48. Runners were Emma Foley, Kady Halbmaier, Pamela Larrison and Myers.
