Lolla F. Schultz

COMPTON - Lolla Faye Schultz, 82, of Compton died surrounded by loving family and friends on March 18, 2013 after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on March 22 at Compton United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Foster officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Melugin Grove Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on March 21 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Mrs. Schultz was born June 9, 1930 in Compton to Bealey and Irene (Ikens) Cox. She married Ralph Schultz on Oct. 26, 1951.
Survivors include her husband; four children, Mike (Sue) Schultz of Mendota, Cheryl (Steve) Argubright of Northridge, Calif., Keith (Carol) Schultz of Littleton, Colo. and Kevin (Deb) Schultz of Sublette; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Allen Cox of Pocahontas, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Jeanette Brown, Irma Mocklin and Rita Townsend; and one grandson, Michael Schultz.
Mrs. Schultz was a homemaker, the world’s best pie baker and worked at Woodhaven Lakes for nine years. She was a lifelong member of Compton United Methodist Church.
