Library adds new books to shelves

MENDOTA – The Friends of Graves-Humes Public Library held a successful Christmas Tree Fundraiser. The contributions received during the fundraiser were used to purchase new circulating material for both the adult and children’s departments. The project raised more than $750.

The books have been purchased and are arriving at the library daily. As the books are processed, they will be put out for circulation. Bookplates have been put on the inside covers stating who the donors were for that particular item.

Anyone interested in seeing the item donated in their name can visit the library or call to inquire what title was purchased with their donation.

The FOL membership drive will begin in March. New members are always welcome. If you do not receive a membership letter in the mail, applications are available at the library circulation desk.
