Kathleen H. Lauer

MENDOTA - Kathleen H. Lauer, 82, of Mendota died Feb. 5, 2013 at Heritage Health, Mendota.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11 at Holy Cross Church with Rev. Geoff Horton officiating. A private family burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sublette. There is no visitation. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements.

Mrs. Lauer was born Feb. 20, 1930 in Peterstown to Henry and Emma (Sondgeroth) Eiberger Jr. She married Elroy Lauer on Jan. 8, 1952 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Peterstown.

Survivors include her husband of Mendota; five sons, Jerry (Dawn) Lauer, Thomas (Kim) Lauer, Martin (Cathy) Lauer, Robert Lauer and Gary (Lori) Lauer; five daughters, Susan (Kevin) Shaw, Linda (Greg) Dimmig, Lisa (Gary) Setchell, Cathy (Bruce) Bankes and Brenda (Dustan) Haynes; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanne, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Lauer was a member of Holy Cross Church and a homemaker.
