Augustana Symphonic Band to perform at MHS Symphony Concert

MENDOTA – Mendota High School will host the Augustana College Symphonic Band and their director, Dr. James Lambrecht, as guests of the 54th Annual Symphony Concert. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb.15 in the MHS Auditorium. There is no admission charge. The public is invited to attend.

Matt Holzner, director of bands at MHS, said traditionally, MHS features professional musicians as guest artists at the annual Symphony Concert. “This is the first time we've had a full ensemble as our ‘guest artists,’” he noted. “We are very excited.”
