Foulks to celebrate 55th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Foulk will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4.

Franklin Foulk and the former Mary Lou Thompson were married on Feb. 4, 1958 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Compton.

They are the parents of five children, Alison of Tabernacle, N.J., Michael of Champaign, Gary of Savage, Minn., Glen of Mendota and Lee of Moline. They have eight grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Melanie, Gary Jr., Jennifer, Joseph, Aubrey and Aaron. They also have 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella and Samuel.

“Lefty” and Mary Lou reside on their farm north of Mendota where they have farmed popcorn along with raising Black Angus cattle.

The Foulks plan to celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner. A card shower is also planned. Cards may be sent to them at 360 Carnahan Road, Mendota, IL 61342.
