MENDOTA – Continuing with tradition, the Mendota High School Band is kicking off their annual fruit sales. Students will take orders for oranges, apples, pears, grapefruit, pineapples and tangelos. Also for sale are various cheese and sausage packages.

This year delivery will be just in time for Valentine’s Day. Orders will be taken through Monday, Jan 28 with a delivery date of Monday, Feb. 11.

Proceeds from this fundraiser help cover some of band’s extra expenses such as guest conductors, drum major camps and their new uniforms. To order fruit, contact any band member or call Jennifer Truckenbrod at (815) 993-7023 or the MHS music department at (815) 539-7446.
