Philip F. Schultz

MENDOTA - Philip F. Schultz, 76, of Mendota died Nov. 27, 2012 at his residence.

Private family services were held at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Merritt Funeral Home. Cremation rites followed. Visitation was from 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the funeral home.

Mr. Schultz was born Jan. 14, 1936 in Columbus, Wis. to Elmer and Linda (Voss) Schultz. He married Roxie McLarning on Nov. 26, 1964 in Sycamore.

Survivors include his wife of Mendota; one daughter, Tracy (Tom) Hocking of LaSalle; two sons, Vince (Denise) Schultz of Peru and Shane Schultz of LaSalle; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Barb) Schultz of Sycamore; and one sister, Kathy (Ed) Link of Columbus, Wis.

He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Mr. Schultz was an over-the-road truck driver with Double D Trucking for more than 40 years before he retired. He was a member of Mendota Moose Lodge.
