CHERRY – Holy Trinity Cherry, following up on last year’s highly successful “Winter Coat Drive,” this November completed their first “Sweater, Glove, Scarf Drive.” This year, they collected 400 sweaters for distribution to various local entities that benefit the underprivileged and elderly.

“The main purpose of the Holy Trinity Cherry stewardship team is to support the underprivileged, the under-employed, and elderly in the area,” said Father Patrick Fixsen of Holy Trinity Cherry. “Such efforts not only help the needy but also demonstrate to members of our parish the Christ-like activities that we should be striving to do in some way every day.”

Local organizations that have received and are distributing these sweaters include Lily Pads Boutique in Peru and The Closet resale shop in Princeton.
