A. Jones inducted into Huntington honor society

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Alexandra Jones of LaMoille was inducted into the Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi on Oct. 31. Membership in Alpha Chi is the highest academic honor at Huntington University. It recognizes scholastic achievement and a commitment to promoting academic excellence and integrity on and off campus as well as service.



U of I announces summer graduates

URBANA-CHAMPAIGN - The names of 1,342 August graduates have been announced by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Local students include Angela Darveau, BSLAS (integrative biology), Maritza Estrada, BSLAS (molecular and cellular biology), Kelsey Hendry, BS (animal sciences), all of Mendota; Brock Ehlers, BS (architectural studies) of Sublette; and William Klein, BS, (agricultural & biological engineering) of West Brooklyn.
