The University of Illinois Extension, Bureau-LaSalle-Marshall-Putnam Unit, will hold their annual County Extension Advisory Group Meetings on Oct. 17, Oct. 24, and Nov. 7. These meetings are an opportunity for Extension supporters, concerned citizens, and the public to help unit staff identify community needs in the areas of youth development, family life, community and economic development, and agriculture and natural resources. he information gathered will help staff plan unit programming for the coming year.
The mission of the University of Illinois Extension, Bureau-LaSalle-Marshall-Putnam Unit is to deliver quality, relevant educational information in a fiscally responsible manner. The goal is to help people develop skills; solve problems; and improve their families, farms, businesses, and communities. The University of Illinois Extension provides unbiased research-based information to local residents.
Meetings will be held at respective Extension offices from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with each meeting focusing on local issues of that county. There is no cost to attend these meetings and refreshments will be provided. The County Extension Advisory Group Meetings will be held as follows:
Bureau County: Bureau County Extension office; 815 Thompson St., Princeton – Wednesday, Oct. 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
LaSalle County: LaSalle County Extension office; 1689 N. 31st Rd., Ottawa – Wednesday, Oct. 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Marshall-Putnam counties: Marshall-Putnam Extension office; 509 Front St., Suite 4, Henry – Wednesday, Nov. 7, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
