Netters beat Pontiac

Mendota swept the singles competition, but Ottawa came back to do the same in doubles competition to claim a 3-2 victory over the Lady Trojans in varsity tennis action on Sept. 24 at the MHS courts.

Singles wins for Mendota went to Michaela DeLong and Asia Robinson.

The Lady Trojans doubled up Pontiac, 6-3, on Sept. 25 at Pontiac.

Mendota received victories in the first five singles matches from DeLong, Robinson, Mary Brandner and Brandy Mellott. In doubles play, DeLong and Robinson teamed up for an MHS win.
