The baby weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was welcomed home by a sister, Clara, 2. Maternal grandparents are Tom and Sandy Sondgeroth of Mendota. Paternal grandparents are Buddy and Terry Spiegelhalter of Dubuque. Great-grandparents are Wilma Jacobs of Mendota and Betty Spiegelhalter of Dubuque.
