Enjoying perhaps some of the best weather in its three-decade history, the 30th Annual Sublette Farm Toy Show welcomed thousands of visitors to town March 17 and 18 for a weekend of toys, tractors and trucks along with plenty of food and entertainment. Although held on the last official weekend of winter, short sleeves and sunglasses were the norm as visitors strolled the streets of Sublette enjoying summer-like temperatures and sunny skies.

This yearís show, featuring International Harvester, coincided with the IH Collectors 20th anniversary celebration. Although the Sublette show is usually a one-day event, the IH Collectors set up both Saturday and Sunday and many of the toy vendors also expanded to two days. In addition, this year a seventh building, Leffelman Automotive, was added to the show.

On Sunday, the streets filled up early with visitors getting a close-up look at all makes of colorful antique tractors and collectors browsing through toy filled buildings hoping to add to their collections. Meanwhile, train enthusiasts were able to see an 8 by 20-foot operating model train layout at the Ellice Dinges Center, also the site of the Sublette Volunteer Fire Departmentís pancake breakfast.
