Dora M. Harner, 76, of Earlville died March 6, 2010 at Mendota Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10 at the Earlville United Methodist Church in Earlville with Rev. Cheri Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Wisner Cemetery in Mendota. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on March 9 at the Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville and on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Harner was born June 12, 1933 in Triumph to Lloyd and Vada (Mann) Carr. She married Howard Harner on Aug. 6, 1952 in Earlville.
Survivors include her husband of Earlville; two sons, Douglas (Celeste DiVito) Harner of LaMoille and Gregory (Margaret) Harner of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Karla (Scott Stone) Boltz of Earlville; five grandchildren, Tricia (Nick) Harner Hamil, Grant Harner, Kyle, Evan and Max Boltz; one sister, Lee Arms; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Carr; and two sisters, Wilda Moss and Vera Simpson.
Mrs. Harner was a very active member of the Earlville Methodist Church and a former member of the Methodist Women’s Society. She loved to bake, cook, flower garden, dance and was very talented in arts and crafts.
