Gary Lee Stouffer, 57, died Feb. 25, 2010.
Honoring Gary’s wishes there were no services. Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, Iowa handled the arrangements.
Mr. Stouffer was born April 26, 1952 in Amboy to Elton “Cy” and Evelyn (Bryant) Stouffer. He married Judy K. Jurgens on March 14, 1998 in Bensenville.
Survivors include his wife; stepdaughters, Dana (Paul) Moran of Chicago and Rebecca (Dave) Vannier of Knoxville, Tenn.; a step grandson, Dylan; one brother, Rick of Amboy; one niece, Roxie (Danny) George of Wichita, Kan.; one nephew, Brian Stouffer of Mendota; great nieces and nephews; and a special aunt, Marjorie Ritchie of Independence, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Stouffer graduated from Amboy High School and worked for Hart-Carter Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years. He then earned his Associate degree at Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon and greatly enjoyed helping people as an X-ray and MRI technician. He loved all animals, especially cats. He raced motorcycles when he was younger and his love of motorcycles continued throughout his life. Guns were a special interest that he shared with his brother, Rick.
