Klinefelter weds Tuftee

Amanda Klinefelter and Josh Tuftee wed

Amanda Klinefelter and Josh Tuftee were married Oct. 13, 2012 at Holy Cross Church in Mendota. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Geoffrey Horton.

Parents of the couple are Rowland and Rose Klinefelter of Mendota; Jon Tuftee of Aurora, Colo.; and Connie Tuftee of Mendota.

The maid of honor was Tonya Klinefelter of Mendota. The bridesmaids were Lauren Setchell of Chicago, Courtney Anderson of Lisle, and Emily Leffelman of Mendota.

The best man was Brandon Hochstatter of Mendota. The groomsmen included Cody Parsons of Mendota, Travis Schmidt of rural LaSalle, and Ryan Simpson of LaMoille.

Ushers were Brandon Farmer and Jordan Farmer of LaMoille.

Ring bearers were Corbin Doll of Mendota and Rowan Tuftee of Sandwich.

A reception was held at the Sublette Community Building to celebrate the couple’s union. The Tuftees currently reside in Sandwich with their son and are expecting their second child in early July.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Mendota High School, a 2007 graduate of Illinois Valley Community College, and a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor degree of science in Horticulture. She is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. Currently, she is a stay-at-home mother.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Mendota High School, a 2007 graduate of Illinois Valley Community College, and a 2010 graduate of The Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg with a bachelor degree in Game Art and Design. He is currently employed by The Care of Trees in Naperville as a Plant Health Care Technician.
