Eges celebrate 65 years

Mr. and Mrs. Ege

Mr. and Mrs. Francis (Frances) Ege of Mendota will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18.

Frances J. Ege and the former Frances R. Gehant were united in marriage on Oct. 18, 1947 at St. Mary’s Church in West Brooklyn. Attendants were Rita McBride and Paul Ege.

The couple are parents of three children, Rose Ann (Bob) Saylor, Dean (Sharon) Ege and Gene Ege. They have nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; one nephew, Ray (Cindy) Michel; and one niece, Pat Ege.
