Hardison-Duffy to wed in December

Ashley Hardison of Mendota and Matthew Duffy of Peru have announced their engagement and plans to marry at the end of the year.
Parents of the prospective bride are Rebecca Delhotal and Edward Hardison of LaMoille, and parents of the groom-to-be are Karen Duffy of Peru and Patrick Duffy of Mendota.

Mr. and Mrs. Alan (Judith) Stiel of Mendota will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.

Heckerts to celebrate golden wedding anniversary

Tess and Dwight Heckert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4.
The couple were married on Sept. 4, 1960 in Champaign, Illinois.
Attendants were Robert Heckert and Joan Stratton.
The Heckerts are parents of two children: Amy (Dave) Brewer of Mendota and Laura (Brian) Schmidt of Mendota. The Heckerts also have three grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hochstatter of 1700 Burlington St., Mendota will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Sept. 12.
Paul Hochstatter and Mary Rita Flaherty were married on Sept. 12, 1945 by Father James F. Garrahan at Sacred Heart Church in Dimmick.
