Girls finish BNC season at 6-6

ROCK FALLS – The Mendota Lady Trojans avenged an earlier loss to Rock Falls by rolling over the Lady Rockets, 46-32, in the regular season finale on Feb. 5 at Rock Falls. MHS concluded the Big Northern Conference season with a 6-6 record.

Rock Falls had beaten Mendota by 10 points three weeks earlier on the MHS court, but the Lady Trojans used a strong fourth quarter to surge past the Lady Rockets on their home hardwood.

The Lady Trojans displayed a balanced scoring attack, led by Ally Bromenschenkel with 13 points. Amy Devitt and Abby Bromenschenkel supplied 10 points apiece.
