MHS girls impressive in two wins

Mendota╒s Lady Trojans took control from the opening tip and coasted to a 50-21 triumph over Hall on Jan. 24 at the MHS gym.

Ally Bromenschenkel╒s 16 points led the way for Mendota, while teammate Amy Devitt fired in 14 points.

Mendota had an easy time in disposing of Stillman Valley, 57-29, in a Big Northern Conference game on Jan. 26 at Stillman Valley.

Devitt finished with 16 points, as did Karly Near, who had three three-point field goals in the third quarter and four for the game. Ally Bromenschenkel chipped in with 10 tallies. Near led with 10 rebounds.

Mendota improved to 16-7 overall and 4-5 in league play.
