MENDOTA – Mendota School District 289 will be holding its Spring Preschool Screening for children who are 3, 4 and 5 years of age and live in District 289. The screenings will be, Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, March 27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 100 E. Sixth St., Mendota.
These screenings are for children who will be 3, 4 and 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2013 and are not currently enrolled in Kindergarten. L.E.A.S.E. will be screening key developmental areas like motor development, speech, language, vision, hearing and general readiness. Parents are urged to take advantage of these services provided free of charge by L.E.A.S.E. and District 289.
All children must be screened to be eligible for the Stepping Stones PreSchool Program.
