District 289 sells bonds to help fund maintenance projects

MENDOTA - Mendota Elementary District 289 conducted a public bond hearing at its Jan. 15 Board of Education meeting concerning the district's intent to sell $2,895,000 Working Cash Fund bonds.

City Council renews health insurance

MENDOTA, The Mendota City Council handled several items of business at its Jan. 19 regular meeting.
During Alderman Bill Hunt's report, he recommended that the city renew its health insurance policy with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, which was approved by the full council. He said the premium will increase by approximately 6.72 percent.
