WARRANT ARREST

Kyle A. Emling, 21, of 410 Fourth Ave., Mendota, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. April 1 on two outstanding LaSalle County warrants for failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Emling was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



THREE ARRESTED

Richard H. Lewis, 18, of 739 Second St., West Brooklyn, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. April 1 on an outstanding warrant from LaSalle County for failure to appear on a charge of criminal trespass to land. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and illegal consumption of alcohol. Also, Esat Aliu, 28, of 7 N. 42nd Road, Mendota, and Eric D. Goad, 21, of 926 N. 36th Road, Utica, were charged with illegal transportation of alcohol. Lewis was transported to the LaSalle County Jail. The other two subjects were released with notices to appear in court.



NUMEROUS CHARGES

Michael Barrera, 18, of 1403 E. Main St., Mendota, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 800 block of Washington Street at midnight on April 5. Also, a 16-year-old Mendota juvenile was charged with no valid drivers license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. Both subjects posted bond and were released with court dates.



TWO CHARGED

Ashley M. Terry, 19, of 812 Main St., Apt. 15, Mendota, was charged with theft under $300 on April 5. Also, Derek M. Castaneda, 24, of 812 Main St., Apt. 15, Mendota, was charged with unlawful use of a stolen credit card. Both subjects were charged as a result of a criminal investigation into a stolen wallet that was reported on March 24.



WARRANT ARREST

Monica J. Suspenzi, 35, of 2018 Guiles Ave., Mendota, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. April 5 on an outstanding warrant from LaSalle County for probation violation. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



JUVENILES CHARGED

A 16-year-old male juvenile from Mendota was charged with no valid license, driving without headlights and curfew violation after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Meriden Street at 12:39 a.m. April 6. Also, a 14-year-old male juvenile from Sheridan was charged with curfew violation. Both subjects were given notices to appear and released to parents.



DUI

Jeffery M. Blake, 30, of 1010 Burlington St., Mendota, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence over .08 and disobeying a stop sign after a traffic stop in the 500 block of Fifth Street at 1:48 a.m. April 6. The subject was given a notice to appear and released with a court date.



WARRANT ARREST

Jose M. Sarabia, 18, of 605 Second Ave., Mendota, was arrested at 5:01 p.m. April 7 on an outstanding warrant from LaSalle County for failure to appear on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



DRIVER CITED

Christopher J. Schnaiter, 17, of 4405 E. Seventh Road, Mendota, was charged with driving while license suspended, operation of an uninsured vehicle and failure to yield at an intersection after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Sixth Street on April 7. The subject was released with a notice to appear in court.



THREE CHARGED

Jeremie W. Work, 20, of 105 20th St., Mendota, was charged with disobeying a stop sign, driving while license suspended, zero tolerance, illegal transportation of alcohol, reckless driving and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop in the 100 block of 20th Street at 1:40 a.m. April 8. Also, Wesley J. Shaver, 21, of 202 Cherry St., Mendota, was charged with unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor and Dale L. Wilson, 17, of 905 Illinois Ave., Mendota, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Shaver and Wilson were released with notices to appear in court. Work was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.
