TELEPHONE HARASSMENT

Tricia B. Baker, 26, of 602 10th Ave., Mendota, was charged with harassment by telephone on March 12 at 8:15 p.m. Officers received a complaint of phone harassment on March 10 at 5:10 p.m. Baker was given a notice to appear in court.



DAMAGE TO VEHICLES

Gary L. Cavendar, 30, of 905 Illinois Ave., Mendota, was arrested on March 12 after officers were called to the 700 block of Jefferson Street at 1:12 a.m. for a report of damage to vehicles. Officers discovered three parked vehicles had been damaged and after investigation, Cavendar was charged with two counts of criminal damage to vehicle and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the LaSalle County jail.



THEFT

Ashley M. Terry, 18, of 812 Main St., Apt. 15, Mendota, was arrested on March 13 and charged with two Class A misdemeanor counts of theft. The arrest was the result of a criminal investigation into thefts of United States Currency that occurred at a business in the 1200 block of First Avenue, Mendota during the month of March. Terry was released with a notice to appear in court.



THEFT

Samantha J. Lachat, 18, of 100 E. Timbercreek Drive, Amboy, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. on March 13 at the Mendota Police Department. Lachat was charged with theft of $300 or less stemming from an earlier investigation.



SEVERAL CHARGES

Martin G. Godina, 26, of 201 Third Ave., Mendota was taken into custody at 3:44 p.m. on March 13 while walking in the 700 block of Jefferson Street. He was transported to the Mendota Police Department due to an outstanding warrant and multiple pending charges. Godina was served two charges of harassment by telephone from an earlier investigation. The warrant was from LaSalle County for failure to appear/driving under the influence of alcohol. Godina was later transported to the LaSalle County jail.



THEFT

A 15-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody on March 13 after officers received complaints of a theft that occurred in the 900 block of Illinois Avenue, Mendota. The juvenile was charged with theft of $300 or less and later released to his parent.



DUI

Megan J. Borden, 28, of Spring Valley was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal lane usage after a traffic stop at Washington Street and Michigan Avenue at 12:48 a.m. March 15. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



DUI

Humberto Torres, 24, of 1008 Indiana Ave., Mendota, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license suspended after police officers responded to an accident at 111 S. 13th Ave. at 6:33 p.m. March 15. The subject posted bond and was released.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Chad R. Edwards, 27, of 4186 Meridian Road, Mendota, was charged with disorderly conduct at 12:53 a.m. March 16. He was released with a notice to appear.



TWO CHARGED

Brandon A. Bertuli, 25, of LaSalle, and John R. Reeder, 54, of 905 Michigan Ave., Mendota, were charged with disorderly conduct after police officers responded to the report of a fight at Frizolís Tavern at 1:14 a.m. March 16. Both subjects were released with notices to appear in court.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Lucas L. Cuevas, 47, of 3926 E. 550th Road, Mendota, was charged with disorderly conduct after police officers responded to the report of an intoxicated pedestrian sitting on a porch that was not his residence at 3:32 a.m. March 16. The subject posted bond and was released with a court date.



MOTORIST CITED

Ernesto Z. Solos, 24, of 7151/2 Washington St., Mendota, was charged with disobeying a stop sign, no valid drivers license and uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop at Guiles Avenue and 17th Street at 6:02 a.m. March 16. The subject was released with a notice to appear in court.



WARRANT ARREST

Christiana V. Mohead, 27, of 100 S. Ninth Ave., #119, Mendota, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. March 16 on an outstanding warrant from LaSalle County for failure to appear on a charge of selling liquor to a minor. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Rapheal G. Garcia, 17, of 800 First Ave., Mendota, was charged with disorderly conduct after police officers responded to a complaint at 1210 Meriden St. at 8:55 p.m. March 16. The subject was released with a notice to appear in court.



FALSE REPORT

Daniel J. Rossi, 49, of 205 Sandra Ave., L1, Mendota, was charged with false report of theft of a motor vehicle after police officers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Sandra Avenue at 12:25 a.m. March 17. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.



TWO CHARGED

Lilia Diaz, 34, of 300 Third Ave., Mendota, was charged with obstructed front/side windows and no valid drivers license after a traffic stop in the 500 block of Sixth Street at 3:34 p.m. March 17. Also, Erica D. Diaz, 24, of 300 Third Ave., Mendota, was charged with permitting an unauthorized person to drive. Both subjects posted bond and were released.



DOMESTIC BATTERY

Brian W. Steele, 26, of 905 Illinois Ave., lower apartment, Mendota, was charged with domestic battery after police officers responded to an ambulance call at the Steele residence at 10:04 p.m. March 17. The subject was transported to the LaSalle County Jail.
