Kimberly Lee Volkert and Daniel Scot Truckenbrod, both of Paw Paw, have announced their engagement and are planning a Sept. 12 wedding in Mendota.

The parents of the bride-to-be are Russell and Sherry Volkert of Mendota, and the parents of the future bridegroom are the late Myron Truckenbrod and Herbert and JoEllen Eggers of Soddy Daisy, TN.

Kimberly attended Mendota High School and holds a business degree from Illinois Valley Community College. Daniel attended Paw Paw High School and is the owner of Nationwide Builders.

The couple will be married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mendota this September.
